RE-OPENING UPDATES

For nearly 100 years, the Tryon Garden Club’s has committed to preserving and conserving Pearson’s Falls & Glen, a biological preserve and Natural Heritage Site.
In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, much attention has gone into planning the restoration of the Glen. With the exception of the immediate removal of large debris in the wake of Helene, all work is being done in a way to minimize the impact on the fragile and rare ecology of the mature cove forest.
Special thanks to the Polk County Community Foundation and the Community Foundation of Henderson County for their funding assistance in helping restore the Glen at Pearson’s Falls.
